After battling with the city traffic we arrive at Stanley Park for an enjoyable caching time once again finishing after dark.

Seems strange to see so many black squirrels. Wildlife link.

Oh dear the month has flown by without the upkeep of my journal.

I’ve still not completed all of the logs for the American trip. Many were challenge caches without checkers so it’s a long process to evaluate each.

There was a big streak of empty birthday grid squares which likely corresponded with my time in Brazil last year. I managed to fill most of them this year though. That involved mad sprees in various counties including, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Surrey and Sussex.

A birthday cache drew my attention today too, the virtual at Kew Gardens placed in 2002 seemed toog good to miss.

I had decided to park away from the gardens and walk/bus in. All worked well it seemed with that plan until I returned to the car to find the rear window smashed.

I likely should have used the bus more than just for the return trip. I’d not weighed up how much walking was involved with one of the two virtuals within the park. My total circuit was about 18 miles.

A few DNF’s and an exclusion from Richmond park because of deer culling but otherwise the caching went quite well.
