Quite a few things still on the go mostly filling calendars with Mysteries, Multis and Non trad physical caches. My personal challenge to fill the 366 days with caches found on their anniversary of placement continues as well of course.
A month with a few events to attend too.
1st December
A few caches around Camberley some with more success than others.
2nd December
A mystery cache needed for the calendar then off to an event.
My first opportunity to attend one of the Christmas Caper events hosted by look sharp.
Seeking the distant mystery cache put me a little later than the opening of the event but I was soon made welcome by the host. Well in saying host it’s infact a very capable family that made the hall all very welcoming with their hadcrafted creations.
A drizzly day as I found out seeking the mystery so I was content to stay in the hall the whole afternoon. I can cache on other days. All enjoyable and over so soon.
3rd December
Scanning the birthday caches late last night showed a long multi cache as being one so thought I might make an attempt at that.
I never enjoy travelling East and Guildford reminds me of being the only town that has issued me a parking ticket in 12 years of geocaching.
Soon setting out on the 30 mile route of the multi cache but it was not to be in the bag today when I couldn’t find stage 4 and stage 6. Little hope to continue with out ongoing coords and hints though I tried another couple of stages.
So it was just a small bag of caches I passed during and after the multi route.
4th December
A social media invite to join “Team Monday” on a walk of the soon to be archived “Whiteparish Womble” 7 mile walk.
Another sociable team with some faces from the recent “Team Thursday” excursions and a few I’d not met before.
A couple of DNF’s for us but still a good bag for the day which will be useful towards my 200 a month goal.
That 7 mile walk was 8.33mi on my GPSr but we still completed it before dark and I got another cache on the drive home.
7th December
Just the one puzzle cache today which i rushed a solve on last night.
Binary I can manage chess was all new to me so took a while and not an absolute solve.
8th December
I’ve various calendars I’m filling for different challenges so allocate days to them.
I’ve over 100 finds on 8 types of caches. Number nine in the rating is wherigo @ 36 so I hope to boost this by finding at least 1 per month.
So today was to start with a wherigo then boost the monthly finds count with trads.
An enjoyable day at Britwell-Cum-Sotwell. Most caches by Geo-Myck but a few by Oxford Stone.
9th December
A birthday cache a mystery and a multi needed today to fill calendars.
Nothing near to home on the birthday front so came to West Sussex.

20th December
I’ve been a bit lax on upkeep of the journal but mostly general stuff of keeping up calendar fills and finds per month.
One or two Christmas events attended too.
23 December
I recently cashed in a little ove £500 worth of my rewards to get a rather nice cycle carrier.
It’s a few years of build up but perhaps others would be interested in getting rewarded for scanning their weekly shop.
Shop and Scan
Certainly needed the carrier today as when I returned from my caching circuits the bike was absolutely covered in mud and certainly could not go inside the car.
You may have to enlarge the photo to see the reindeer. Well I certainly liked this novelty.
Although it was a struggle through the mud in places the bike helped me get round two circuits where I found 24 out of 27 caches.
