Almost a week home from the trip and I’ve just finally written up the last earth cache answer and log so the map should be up to date now.
An enjoyable trip on the whole much varied scenery, hot most of the time with just one day that I stayed in because of rain.
Casualties of the trip, the van is a little poorly, I fell off the bike and I lost my torch.
The torch I bought around a decade ago and it has been my daily carry item all that time. Likely early generation of LED torches it was around £100 in that era.
My how things have changed. Have to wait and see on durability but got a couple of torches for about a tenth of that cost. One in particular seems to be like the swiss army knife of torches. Smaller lighter having white/UV and flood lamps all in the tiny frame. In unit charging and integral belt clip certainly lead me to believe it will be my EDC item.
